"Source to Tap: Water Safety Plans and What it Could Mean for Canada's Small Systems" is an interactive workshop offered on Thursday, March 21st during the Connecting Water Resources conference in Ottawa. The workshop will explore the multiple barrier approach to ensuring safe drinking water, discuss Alberta's experience in implementing their Drinking Water Safety Plan regulatory requirement, and draw specific attention to what this could mean for small water utilities. This interactive workshop runs from 9am to noon, and will include platform presentations by Dr. Steve Hrudey, Dr. Graham Gagnon, and Aaron Janzen of Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development.
