Thesis Title: Residential Sampling for Lead and Corrosion Inhibition by Phosphate
Thesis and Research Interests: My research is focused on optimizing the performance of zinc orthophosphate-based corrosion inhibitors in order to control lead release to potable water. A secondary topic is evaluating the effect of partial lead service line replacement on lead levels at the tap.
About me: I was born in Vancouver, BC, but I like to think of myself as a native ‘Maritimer’. I like big trees (I know, wrong coast), playing classical and fingerstyle guitar, hiking, and cycling.
